Kyria Wildlough was the infant daughter of Whulky and Aliria Wildlough , the sister of Rydan. She was named for High Rhulain Tiria Wildlough, who delivered her and her brother prematurely.
Aliria wanted Tiria's kindness and compassion to be remembered, so she and her husband gave one of her babes the name K-yria.
Kyria was born with a hole in her heart, also known as a ventricular septal defect (VSD) VSD is a hole (defect) in the wall (septum) separating the pumping chambers of the heart (the right and left ventricles). Patients usually have 1 VSD, but may have more than 1.
Kyria lived for two days before dying. Tiria frantically tried to revive Kyria, but failed.
When Kyria reached Dark Forest, she made a request of Sabine Wildlough to be Tiria's guardian and protector.
